Operator: SolTrade is currently an independent project operated by Juan Carlos Castro Ortiz in Spain. Contact: privacy@soltrade.uk. The legal/operator structure may change before commercial launch and these terms will then be updated.
Beta scope: SolTrade is experimental automated algorithmic trading software currently operating exclusively in Paper Trading. It may analyse US equities/ETFs, generate trading decisions, apply deterministic risk rules and automatically submit/manage simulated orders through Alpaca Paper. Live-money execution is not enabled or offered under these beta terms.
No custody: SolTrade does not hold client money or securities. Alpaca and any future broker are independent third-party services governed by their own terms.
Current Paper-beta purpose: the current beta is supplied for software testing, research and performance validation. It is not offered as live portfolio management, personalised investment advice or a promise that any instrument or strategy is suitable for you.
Experimental outputs: market analysis, scores, simulated BUY/HOLD/SELL decisions, statistics and demonstrations can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. They must not be treated as a guarantee of future results.
Risk: trading can result in substantial losses. Paper Trading does not reproduce all live-market effects, including slippage, partial fills, market impact, outages, liquidity constraints and psychological behaviour. Past or simulated performance does not guarantee future performance.
Eligibility and beta access: private-beta access is invite-only and may be suspended or withdrawn at any time. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, not share invitation links or credentials, and use the service lawfully.
Broker credentials: only connect accounts/credentials that you are authorised to use. The current release accepts Alpaca Paper credentials only. Never send broker secrets to SolTrade staff through email, chat or public channels.
Availability and changes: the beta may contain defects and may be changed, paused, reset or discontinued. SolTrade may alter non-live beta functionality and test infrastructure as development continues. Material changes to legal terms will be published here.
Future live automation: SolTrade is being designed as trading automation technology. If live functionality is offered in the future, the product structure may require users to configure or authorise their own strategy, automation and risk parameters, or may be delivered through an appropriately authorised broker/partner, depending on jurisdiction and applicable requirements. Any live-money functionality will have separate eligibility, broker/compliance approval and contractual terms. Nothing in this Paper beta guarantees that live functionality will be launched in every jurisdiction.
Intellectual property: SolTrade software, branding, interfaces and original content remain the property of the operator or applicable licensors. These terms grant only a limited, revocable right to use the beta for its intended testing purpose.
Feedback: if you provide product feedback, you permit SolTrade to use it to test and improve the product without an obligation to compensate you, while personal data remains governed by the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services: the beta depends on services including Cloudflare, Google, OpenAI and Alpaca. SolTrade is not responsible for outages, data errors or changes caused solely by those independent services, to the extent permitted by law.
Liability: to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, accuracy or profitability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Termination: you may stop using the beta at any time. SolTrade may suspend access for security, abuse, legal/compliance reasons, service integrity or discontinuation of the beta.
Privacy: personal-data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law: these terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to mandatory protections that apply to you under consumer or data-protection law.
